Okeechobee is on the verge of major changes.
The proposed development in our area will bring significant changes in
the landscape, business opportunities and the community itself.
This is an exciting time to be able to influence what our community will
be in the future. Our Main Street organization is very active in
all areas of the community. Our Board members are very strong and
chair numerous committees. The committees address: what we look
like, economic restructuring, business diversification, arts and
culture, as well as preserving our past.
Our membership is growing and is very supportive of
the organization's goals. It takes a strong, energetic group of
people committed to making a difference to shape our future.

general membership meeting. We spend the meeting reviewing the
